Le matte est terminé avec pas mal de changements pendant la réalisation. Le « making of » à été publié sur CgArena et 3Dvf a relayé la news, merci beaucoup à eux ! Je suis vraiment très heureux que ce projet plaise autant !

Je suis justement en train de visionner un dvd de Christian Lorenz Scheurer : intoduction to digital painting in adobe photoshop.
Je suis accès 3D, modélisation et j’apprends l’animation également. (J’ai pas encore fait de choix
Mais comme je dessine comme un pied, je me fais quelques tutoriaux sur le dessin et le matte painting.
Bref, j’adore l’ambiance et surtout les détails !

This art is really great but… I’ve read your tuturial at http://psdtuts.com/tutorials-effects/50-dirty-filthy-grunge-photoshop-effects/ You say what has to be done, but whet it comes to part « how to » you say things like « Render is a big work which requires a particular care concerning the lights and the reflections. » But it’s hard to gues, how to do this! You see, I use PS since v.5.0. I am expirienced with photo(portrait) retouch but I’ve never done such reflection like on this photo, so… I simply don’t have any idea, how to reflect buildings, when the reflect line is not horizontal or vertical. Being specific, I can’t transform layer that is reflecting(a copy) in water so it matches original layer. I would be really pleased if you don’t mind responding at my e-mail:)

I too am really astound with your skills and got very inspired to create something similar. And like our friend Marcin here I also got stuck with the water reflections… I would appreciate it very if you could e-mail some further information and tips on how you did it. Thanks in advance!

For the deformation on the reflects, you have to use the standard deformation tool and by clicking « Ctrl » and selecting one of the handle, you can freely change the deformation.
For the reflects texture, you have to try some differents textures with differents blending modes and opacity. Don’t hésitate to test several images. And a good tip : Play with tool « Levels » on your imported image, it help a lot to adjust the render.

Salut! Franchement excellent rendu! J’ai aujourd’hui vu une expo sur le matte painting et franchement ça me tente bien d’apprendre mais malheureusement je n’ai pas l’âge d’aller à l’université (14ans) et donc je me demande ou et comment apprendre le matte painting. Si tu connais un bon livre ou DVD explicatif je suis preneur! Allez bonne continuation!

trop fort je suis fasciné par le monde du painting en plus je suis nouveau dans se domaine . je suis un étudient dans une fac de beau art en tunisie. je fais comme étude audio visuel mon but devenir reconnu mondialement je suis dans une course contre la montre… je cherche la perfection et j’aime ce que je fais et sii quelqu’un peux m’aider a m’améliorai je suis preneur et reconnaissant
